These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of any RansomForge game or service (together, the "Services"), operated by RansomForge, LLC ("we," "our," or "us").
These Terms cover all RansomForge titles and the accounts behind them, including:
- Hero Survival, on Android and Windows PC
- Castle Defender
- Any RansomForge website or service that links to these Terms, including https://ransomforge.com
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Accounts
You may sign in using supported third-party authentication providers (such as Google), or, where a title offers it, an email and password. Hero Survival uses Google sign-in only.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping login credentials secure
- All activity under your account
- Providing accurate account information
You must promptly notify us at support@ransomforge.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized automation/tools
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or impersonate others
- Upload or transmit malicious code
- Use the Services in violation of applicable law
We may investigate violations and take action, including warnings, suspension, or termination.
4. Intellectual Property
The Services, including game content, code, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services.
5. User Names and Submissions
You may choose a display name and may provide other user-generated material where features allow. You must have rights to any content you submit and it must comply with these Terms.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your submitted content solely to operate and improve the Services.
6. Virtual Items and Competitive Features
If a title includes rankings, ratings, rewards, in-game currency, or virtual items:
- They are provided for entertainment purposes only
- They have no cash value and are not redeemable for money unless expressly stated
- We may modify, rebalance, reset, or remove features at our discretion
Purchases made through a platform store (such as Google Play) are also subject to that store's terms, and refunds are handled under that store's policy.
7. Availability and Updates
The Services are delivered online and depend on our servers. We may update, patch, or change the Services, including downloading game content to your device, and we may interrupt the Services for maintenance or operational reasons.
We may also discontinue a title or a feature. Where we do, we will provide notice where practical and required.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms, security concerns, legal requirements, or operational reasons.
You may stop using the Services at any time, and may request account deletion at support@ransomforge.com.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RansomForge, LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) USD $50.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RansomForge, LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Comal County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and may provide additional notice where required by law.
Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
